Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Makassar – Toraja D
Arrival on Makassar airport. Proceed to Toraja ( 290 Km) from airport. On the way enjoying beautiful scenary and limestone area spread out on Bugis regions with their typical shaped Bugis house. Lunch in served in Pare Pare at seafood restaurant. After lunch drive up to mountain area till Tana Toraja, coffee break at Bambapuang with nice panoramic hills. Early evening check in hotel and dinner.
Day 02: Fullday Toraja Tour LD
Exploring Toraja area, such as : visiting stone grave at Lemo with Tau – Tau, Londa with it’s cave grave and old cottins, hanging graves, Toraja Village with Tongkonan and Alang (ricebarn). Lunch at Local Restaurant. Afternoon back to the hotel and dinner.
Day 03: Fullday Toraja Tour LD
After breakfast, driving to north area of Toraja to visit beautiful panorama with rice terrace and stone gaves. Small trekking from Batutumonga down to Pana – Tikala ( 3 hours ). After lunch visiting Rantepao market where you can find Toraja Souvenir. Back to the hotel and having dinner.
Day 04: Toraja – Pendolo LD
After breakfast, starting drive to Pendolo, Central Sulawesi. On the way enjoying rain forest area and may possibility for photostop. Lunch at simple restaurant. Afternoon arrive at hotel at Pendolo that located on side of Poso Lake. Dinner at Hotel.
Day 05: Pendolo – Lake Poso Tour LD
After breakfast, leaving hotel at Pendolo and drive around the lake side to visit Bancea Orcheed garden, visiting Saluopa Cascade with little hiking. Lunch on the way and afternoon check in at simple hotel of Siuri cottage. Here is possible for swimming at other side of Poso with white sand.
Day 06: Lake Poso – Ampana LD
After breakfast, check out hotel and leaving Siuri to drive to Ampana for Togian Island programm. Afternoon arrive at Ampana, overnight at Marina Cottage, located on the shore where you’ll start by boat to Togian Island at the next day.
Day 07 – 10: Togian Island LD
With 2,5 hours by boat, you’ll get first Island and overnight there for four days three nights in Bomba Cottage. Every day doing planned daily tour for snorkeling and diving. Here you find the real wonderful spots for diving and snorkeling.
Day 11: Togian – Ampana – Palu LD
Out from Togian back to Ampana and driving to Palu, capital of central Sulawesi Province. Dinner at hotel.
Day 12: Palu – Makassar
After breakfast, check out hotel and driving to the airport for next destinations (Makassar).
